Custom School-Based PD
Are you a school-based leader who wants to provide PD on tech tools and strategies for teaching, learning, and productivity? We offer a school-based 4-part PD package that includes a Pre-Assessment, Large Group PD + Office Hours, a Small Group Coaching Cycle, and a School Sharing Session.
1. Pre-Assessment
We will work with your school to determine your teacher technology training needs with consideration to your goals.
2. Large Group PD + Office Hours
DLT will offer PD during school hours (recommended minimum of two sessions) and host Tech Support Office Hours at your school for teachers to drop-in with their questions about the topic.
3. Small Group Coaching Cycle
School commits to a small group (3-6) teachers to use CPT (3-6 meetings) to further explore and implement tech tool(s) into classroom practice with the support of DLT Coaches. Coaching is non-evaluative.
4. School Sharing Session
DLT facilitates a sharing session during school hours where Coaching Group shares best practices and impact on student learning with the entire community.
School-Based Coaching Model
We offer a non-evaluative coaching cycle that supports a small team of teachers from the same school to implement an identified tech tool or strategy for teaching and learning. The DLT Coaches aim to support your school’s goals through the use of technology in the classroom.

With a DLT Coach, teachers will follow a Coaching Cycle to:
IDENTIFY a student learning need/challenge in the classroom using the DLT’s Impactful Technology Indicators
INVESTIGATE tech tools/strategies and select one to try in the classroom
IMPLEMENT the tool/strategy with the support of the Coach
REFLECT on how it went
The Coaching Cycle is school-based and classroom-based:
A small team of teachers (3-6) commits to working with a DLT Coach over a period of time (ideally 3-6 CPT meetings).
During the ‘Implement phase’ of the cycle, Teachers are willing to invite Coaches to observe, model, and/or co-teach using the selected tech tool/strategy as needed.
After completing the Coaching Cycle, teachers who participated share the impact of the tech tool/strategy on student learning with the larger school community in a School Sharing Session, facilitated by DLT Coaches.
