Neighborhood Interviews

Description

In this section you will interview two people from your neighborhood. Interviewing will serve to enhance your understanding of your issue and how it is impacting people in your immediate community. When choosing possible candidates for your interviews, consider the following:

• FEASIBILITY: Are you able to contact your interviewee and arrange an interview? Will the interviewee have ample time to sit with you and answer all of your questions? Is he/she likely to speak candidly regarding your questions?
• DIVERSITY: You only have two interviews to conduct. Carefully consider who you interview. Consider age, education, occupation, their relationship to you and any other criteria you feel important. You want to try and collect a diverse array of perspectives on your issue to help see the "big picture" of how your issue impacts people in your community.
