BLS V.O.T.E. hosted two documentary showings today!

We showed two documentaries- one on the corruption of the Russian government and another on the 2021 Myanmar Coup d'état. We paired that with a following discussion and complementary Padlet. The documentaries were titled: Alexi Navalny's "A Palace for Putin. The Story of the Biggest Bribe" which investigates the funds given for President Putin's residence and in a more broader perspective the internal corruption of the Russian government socially and economically, and "Inside Myanmar's Crackdown," a short documentary Al Jazeera about the 2021 Myanmar coup, and more specifically the people and groups affected by this and the following protests and international response.

Make sure to put your info into Innerview to get your hours! Classes V-II get 2 hours per session, and seniors get 3.
