Hello families and students! My name is Mrs. Dalmau and I am very excited to welcome each of you to our class this year. I am a veteran’s wife, and mom of three beautiful daughters, ages 23, 17, and 13. I have been married to my husband, Carlos, for 28 years. After he retired from the Air Force, we made Louisiana our permanent home. I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and creating educational resources.

I hold a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood. I am also certified to teach World Languages (Spanish) and English Language Learners. I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, Spanish Elementary, and Second Grade. This is my ninth year of teaching and my second year here at W.T. Lewis. I love teaching and engaging my students in meaningful and challenging learning experiences. I invite you and encourage you to stay connected with our class. Home-school partnerships are essential to improving educational outcomes for all students! I look forward to working with you and getting to know your child. "Teamwork makes the dream work".
