BHS Back To School Night

Boonton High School's Back to School Night was held on Thursday, September, 19th.  Thank you to all the families that attended the evening, along with BHS Peer Leaders who assisted.

Aviation Academy

Students in Boonton High School's Aviation Academy are currently learning about drones.  Students were given the opportunity to test their skill by flying a drone through an obstacle course.   Please click on the link to view.  Very impressive!  Drone Obstacle Course

STEM Academy

The STEM Academy hosted two guest speakers on thursday September 19th in preparation for an upcoming Breast Cancer fundraising event that will happen in October. The first guest speaker was Sarah Roberts from the Connie Dwyer Foundation, who shared her insights into the foundation's mission to support local communities through efforts aimed at lowering breast cancer rates and mortality. Sarah also highlighted how students can get involved and contribute to these vital initiatives. The second speaker was  Evelyn Fuertes from the Rutgers Cancer Institute, who provided a comprehensive overview of breast health. Ellen covered essential screening methods, risk factors, and key statistics, as well as discussed significant changes to monitor and encourage healthy lifestyle modifications to reduce risk.

BHS Club & Activities Fair

On Thursday,  September 19th, BHS students were able to visit our annual club and activity fair during lunch.  Students were introduced to, and able to sign up for, clubs and organizations that fit their interests.

BHS Soccer

Congratulations to the boys soccer team on their thrilling 3-2 victory over Parsippany.  Issah Kush had two goals and one assist.  Ardi Dauti had a goal.  Jaciel Lagos and Gianni Borrielli each had an assist for the Bombers.

Congratulations to the girls soccer team on their 5-2 win over Saint Elizabeth.  Anastasia Showler-Little had five goals.  Megan Campos had two assists and Rebecca Johnson had one assist.  Goalie, Jordan Hicinbothem had 21 saves in the victory.
