In light of recent developments with COVID-19, Rutgers MiniMed has decided to suspend all face-to-face instruction for the remainder of the Spring 2020 session. In the coming days, students will receive online instruction, honor quizzes, and educational materials via e-mail. In addition, MiniMed faculty will be preparing podcasts that will be uploaded to the MiniMed course schedule. Rutgers is committed to our students' academic success and wishes for all students and their families to be safe.

Last week, Mr. Del Guercio's chemistry class continued their experiments with different types of chemical reactions. The video below is a class demonstration of the combustion of a hydrocarbon.
Last week, Dr. Shi's chemistry classes completed labs that explored different types of chemical reactions. Prior to the lab, students studied various types of chemical reactions. Students were tasked with transferring their "theoretical knowledge" of chemical reactions to the laboratory. Students observed and predicted products for four types of chemical reactions: Synthesis, combustion, single replacement, and double replacement.
