Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!.... to all those parents who have sent in snacks for the clinic. We continually have students who fail to eat breakfast and need morning nourishment! Your provisions really help us meet our need!
Please remember frequent hand washing is essential to good health! 8--10 hours of sleep a night, healthy diet choices, and exercise keep us in the healthy zone!
IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR FLU SHOT YET THIS YEAR PLEASE GO GET ONE ASAP!! Local hospitals have begun restricting visitation due to the current number of flu cases reported in our surrounding communities.
Please continue to check RealTime for updated contact information. Also please submit the Student emergency card if you have not already done so. I rely on this for emergencies and field trips.
Any student who wishes to receive medication periodically for headaches, cramps, or joint pain may do so once submitting a medication form signed by the health care provider and the parent. Per NJ state law, no medication shall be administered in a school setting; prescription or over the counter, without a physician/provider signature. The forms for such have been uploaded to the parent portal.
Please remember our mental and emotional health are just as crucial to our existence as our physical health. Please take time to talk to your child periodically about how they are doing and if they are facing any new challenges in their life. Plan a fun activity for the family to get out and interact. Take time to reflect on the positive in your life. Encourage your child to do the same.
Thank you to all those who have submitted updated immunization records.
Yours in good health,
Regards,
Marcia Nunn Tucci RN CSN
