All Students: Progress reports are now available on your Realtime Portal. Take the opportunity to view your grades and seek extra help if needed before the end of the marking period!
Mid- Year Grades: mid-year cumulative weighted and unweighted GPA's have been uploaded into Naviance. You can access this information by logging onto Naviance, selecting the "About Me" tab, clicking the "My Account" link, and scrolling to the "Academic" section at the bottom of the page.
For 11th grade: We know it's early, but Common App just announced the essay prompts will remain the same for the fourth consecutive year! We are glad that we had the opportunity to meet with you all in regards to post high school plans! Please visit us with any questions you still might have. April 1st the junior class will be attending the Northern New Jersey College Fair at the Meadowlands Expo Center. You can only attend if you have your Emergency Contact Form completed in the nurse's office.
For 12th grade: This week during your gym class, we explored scholarships and the difference between loans and grants. Continue to explore the list of scholarship websites that we discussed. If your colleges require mid year grades, now is the time to self-report them or complete and submit a request form with Ms. DiBenedetto in guidance.
C2 Education in Denville: C2 Education is extending its free practice tests through March and April for students of BHS. They are offering BHS students who have already taken an official SAT or ACT a complimentary test analysis and college counseling session.
Students will have the opportunity to take practice tests for the SAT, SAT 2 Subject tests, ACT, or PSAT exam:
- Saturday March 7, 14, 21, and 28 Session 1: 9am-1pm or Session 2: 1pm-5pm.
- Saturday April 4, 11, 18, and 25 Session 1: 9am-1pm or Session 2: 1pm-5pm.

Boston University Summer Journalism Institute: Open to all aspiring photographers and journalists in high school. Rowan's 4th Annual College Prep Transition Conference: this day-long event features various workshops offered to high school students with disabilities and their parents. The goal is to provide knowledge and understanding of the transition process from High School into College.

The New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling 2020 Regional College Fair will be held on Wednesday, March 11, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Kean University. Registration for students is open now at strivefair.com. Individuals who register in advance will receive a unique barcode to be scanned by college representatives at the fair. Following the fair, each student will receive a full report containing information on the schools whose tables they visited. Enclosed is a handout to be shared with your students.
Saturday Youth Enrichment Programs: William Paterson University is offering Saturday enrichment programs for high school students now through April 2020. The courses include:

- Career and college major exploration, and more.
