Bracket Schedule is posted!
Battle Judges are needed!
Bracket battles begin Wednesday, February 4th.
Battles will not be rescheduled due to student absences. If your child is unable to attend school on the day of their scheduled battle, the team will compete with the available members.
Battles will be rescheduled due to inclement weather.
The Battle Schedule will be posted on the OBOB bulletin board outside the library. On battle days, students competing will gather at the board to be collected by a judge. Teachers do not organize or keep track of the battles. Students should refer to the bulletin board if they have questions about when they compete.
Reminders for Bracket Battles:
Teams can "steal." If a question is answered incorrectly, the Question Reader will offer it to the other team.
If there is a tie, additional questions will be asked.
Battles are elimination-style. If you end a battle with fewer points than the other team, you're done for the season.
Sportsmanship counts. In the halls, on the bus, within each team - remind each other that we are expected to treat each other with kindness and respect.

Students can see who is scheduled to battle, when and where at the upstairs bulletin board
Students can track who advances on the Bracket bulletin board downstairs, across from the staff room
The winning team will be announced to all participants via email when battles are finished.
The winning team will get a separate email with details about the Regional Battle
