This application will close on Sunday, September 7th. Make sure to submit the application by the deadline. The $5 membership fee is due after acceptance. Acceptance will be posted on this website and on Minga.
To determine eligibility, please follow these guidelines:
4 points must come from List I (at least two courses except for Seniors)
7 points must come from List I & II combined (at least three courses)
The remaining 3 points may come from List I, II, or III.
Each A is worth 3 points, each B is worth 1 point (AP classes give 1 extra point with a max of 2 points total). You must have 10 points total in 5 classes to qualify. A grade of D or F in any course shall disqualify the student from membership for the semester.
Summer school shall not be used for semester membership. This also applies to college courses taken during the summer.
A student must have taken a minimum of three (3) courses from Lists I and II; at least two (2) of these three courses must be from List I only. (However, seniors applying at the start of their second semester or at graduation may use three (3) courses from List II and none from List I.) Additional courses may be taken from and List, including List III.
No CSF points shall be given for physical education courses, courses taken in lieu of physical education, subjects repeated to improve a grade, courses involving clerking or office/teacher assisting, and courses taken on a pass/fail basis.
Any student who is otherwise eligible, but who in the judgment of the advisor and principal is an unworthy citizen, may be debarred from semester membership. This may affect life membership.
If you qualify, you will be required to complete 5 volunteer hours over the course of the semester in order to qualify for regalia. The volunteer hours must be completed by offerings through Minga/Remind. You can be a member without earning regalia. Any N's or U's in citizenship automatically disqualifies applicants. Once you have been confirmed a member, you will have to pay a $5 membership fee to the finance office.
