Close Contact

If your child has been identified as a close contact during school or a school activity, or if your child is a close contact with someone with a confirmed case of COVID outside of school, please follow the instructions below. 

NOTE: a close contact is defined as someone who has shared the same indoor airspace for 15 minutes or more over the course of a day with a person known to have been infectious with COVID-19.

• The student may attend school and continue to participate in school-sponsored activities and should monitor for symptoms that may be associated with a COVID-19 and stay home and notify the school if symptoms develop,

• If the student tests and gets a positive result, follow these instructions: STUDENT IS POSITIVE FOR COVID

• If symptoms develop at any point, click here for instructions if the student has symptoms
