  • Courses in italics indicate electives/selective electives. These 36 credits can be taken in any order as long as individual pre-reqs are met.

  • FOUNDATIONS COURSES. In addition to named specific courses, students need to take one FC (foundations in oral communication), one FA, one FH, and two FS courses. FS courses must come from two different fields as stated in the University General Education Requirements

  • For each elective, pick from following list or propose alternative with advisor. Note: must meet offering department requirements for course including pre-reqs and required lab components
    o Engineering Fundamentals Elective: ENGR210, ENGR 220, CE 330, ENGR 240, ECE 210, ME 302, ME 330
o Statistics Elective: MATH 360, MATH 361, Statistical Process Control, ENGR 460
    o Science Elective: BIOL 191, BIOL 227, CHEM 307, CHEM 309, CHEM 431, PHYS 309
    o Computing Elective: Pick from MSE 150, CE 284, CS 111, CS 117, CS 121, CS 133, ME 271
o Free electives are an opportunity for you to gain more from your degree in whatever way you choose. We encourage you to look at minors, certificates, CID programs, experiential learning opportunities and more.

  • GRADE POLICY: A C- or above is required for all prerequisite courses & for all upper division courses in the student’s major.
