Hannah is working on improving environmental outcomes in Idaho using insights from environmental anthropology.

Karl Mertens, EEB PHD Student

Karl is lab manager. Karl's interests are broadly in perception and decision making in resource exploitation. His current work is on resource (chiefly firewood) harvesting in Kenya and sensitivity to quality, time, and cost trade-offs. He is developing a framework to address how productive strategies respond to information and life history of individuals and resources. He is also working on the evolutionary psychology of religious communication project.

Ann Wozniak, EEB PHD Student

Ann is working on the health and livelihood effects of the built environment. She is also working on the evolutionary psychology of religious communication project.

Karen S. Fulk, BS in Anthropology Student

Karen worked on food sharing data Dr. Ziker collected in Siberia in 2001 and 2003 using social network analysis. This work was published in the journal Cross-Cultural Research and an edited volume on Collaborative Innovation Networks.
