We welcome all local community members to visit the Koelsch community garden and harvest vegetables to feed your families. Come bearing your empty bags and leave full of fresh goodies! We do ask that you keep in mind that this garden is meant to be shared by many of our neighbors, so please take what you need to feed your family, while leaving enough for others as well.
These onions are sharp and sweet additions of flavor to any of your summer dishes this season. They're great finely chopped in a salad or tangy vinaigrette!
There are several jalapenos ready to go! Come harvest one today for your next family meal.
Our basil grants are growing brilliantly this season! We are so pleased to share our bounty with you. Enjoy this fresh basil in homemade pesto, or thinly slice it over your next pasta dish!

Cut off some leaves of tasty basil today. Enjoy fresh homemade pesto (recipe found in our Garden Recipes tab).
Fifth graders worked hard out in the garden harvesting tasty treats for our upcoming salsa day. Check them out!
Come on out to our community garden and snag what ya like. Strawberries are ripening beautifully, and boy are they sweet! The basil is ready to harvest and use in a beautiful caprese salad or delicious pesto sauce. The swiss chard is full and ready to clip back, along with our lovely lettuce. Tomatoes and peppers are growing well and will be ready to harvest soon. Finally, our potatoes, zucchini and pumpkins are producing a forest of leaves and are strong! Check out pics below.
