Hi, my name is Jenna Hunt-Lowman and I am the School Counselor here at Garfield Elementary. I have been a School Counselor for ten years and love my job. Through a comprehensive School Counseling program I focus on meeting the social-emotional, academic, and career readiness needs of all students.
My School Counseling Beliefs:
Every student will be surrounded by caring adults who work to hold them to high expectations and foster growth
Every student has the right to learn about and build a strong sense of mental and emotional health
Every student has the right to a safe and inclusive school environment
Fostering community (school, home, community partners) is of utmost importance to student success
Parents/Guardian's know their students best, making them an important part of their child's learning team
