About Us

Borah High Schools Band Program dates all the way back to the schools opening in 1958. It has had 4 different Band Directors during its existence and is a staple for representing musicality in the treasure valley. They have received many accolades throughout the bands existence, taking home the 1st place title at the Mel Shelton District III Marching Band Competition, as well as more than 40 years of Superior plaques from the District III Concert Band Festival. 

Now under the direction of Mr. Matt Clay, the Band has thrived in recent years, placing at multiple Marching Competitions, being selected for the showcase concert at the Gene Harris Jazz Festival, and supporting music in the Treasure Valley.
