Georgia is a 9th grader from Italy. She moved from Italy to Boise when she was three years old. Her dream is to be an actress, and her dream college is BSU. In her spare time she likes to watch movies. She's willing to write stories about anything.
Genevieve is a 9th grader. Born into a military family, Genevieve has lived in half of the 50 states. Genevieve has interest and skills in writing and is very excited to write in the school newspaper this semester. Even though she was born in Colorado, she wants to go to college at Boise State University or Utah State University. Genevieve describes herself as creative and says her favorite book is Holiday Romance.
King is a 9th grader from California with no prior journalism experience. He has two dream jobs, either a tower climber or an underwater welder, and strives to go to LSU. He enjoys watching sports and says he will do his best on this year’s newspaper.
Noah is an Idahoan born and raised. He would love to go to BSU and then accomplish his dream of being a writer. Noah loves cats and dogs but mainly cats. He states that he’s a good writer with about 2 years of experience.
Annika is currently a 9th grader who likes writing and reading poetry. She is "all about" watching Modern Family. Along with her family, she lives with two dogs and a cat! When she is older, she wants to go to Chico State and would either like to be an occupational therapist or an employment lawyer. She loves volunteering with kids and her favorite colors are purple and yellow.
Briar, an 8th grader, was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. She has two dogs named Posey and Poppy. After school, she does volleyball, basketball, track and lacrosse. When Briar graduates, she would like to go to school at Boise State or if she gets a scholarship in basketball, go to a school that has a good basketball team. After college, she would like to be a dermatologist or work with athletes as a physical therapist.
Seventh grader Siddhi lives in Boise, Idaho, with her parents and her beloved dog. At just 12 years old, she excels in Indian dance and taekwondo. When she grows up, she plans to apply her expertise to dermatology and hopes to attend Harvard University. She is excited to continue her educational journey with her friends and family!
Geddy is a smart 7th grader who was born in Boise, Idaho. He joined journalism because he has his own journal and likes to write. Another elective he enjoys is choir. He loves wearing his hat.
Paxton was born in Boise, Idaho, and is now in 7th grade. When he grows up, he would like to be an anesthesiologist, mostly because that would make 400 grand a year! He has 3 cats and 3 dogs and wanted to join journalism to yell at people for making spelling mistakes. At the time of writing this, Paxton likes sports such as baseball and football.
Madeline was born in Athens, Georgia. She is in 7th grade and is 12 years old. Madeline would like to go to Georgia State University and either wants to be an actress, singer, or nurse. Madeline likes to write her own songs, and she has been to almost every state in the U.S.A! Madeline loves the Pendragon series and the Wings of Fire Legends. She also recommends reading Color of My Words.
Alexa Davis is in 7th grade, and she would love to attend BYU or Stanford. Alexa loves to write and design, and she does dance after school at the Artistic Dance Company. She also loves her dog named Mia and writing novels in her spare time. Alexa plays a great role in our journalism class and she would love to become an engineer or an actor for a future job. Fun fact: Alexa lived in Colorado for one year!

As she begins her new year as a middle schooler, Shamsi’s enthusiasm is infectious, and she is eager to learn and grow. She wants to become an anesthesiologist someday so she can ease the fears of patients before they drift off to sleep for medical procedures.
Nevaeh is a 7th grader at Les Bois who was born in Homer, Alaska. She does Jazz band after school and has big plans for her future! When she graduates, she wants to go to an out-of-state college to become a biologist or a surgeon.
