Communities In Schools at Ripley High School

CIS is an organization that has been around nationally for over 40 years. The purpose of the program is to bring community resources into schools to empower success for all students. Through a school-based coordinator, resources are sought to support students’ academic and/or non-academic needs and support their learning.

As the CIS Site Coordinator for Ripley High School, I will be working to increase student's social and emotional skills.  To accomplish this, I will be providing both school wide and individualized supports.   The goal is to help students overcome obstacles and provide them encouragement and resources for success in the future.
