The topic of the Italian meeting: The future of water. The future of water. 

The topics of the meeting: Water and the future, the importance of the blue gold, water pollution, reduce -reuse and recycle.

Let me learn students, that water is important to us. In this meeting, the activities were focused on learning about activities that can be to conserve water. 

The meeting featured an invited speaker, Professor Giovanni de Feo from the University of Salerno, creator of the Greenopolis environmental education project, who led an interactive workshop and taught the students a common song on the topic (Wash, wash).

In a presentation by a civil association (Legambiente), the students learned about sustainable water management, and then visited a community farm near the school that grows crops. 

We went sightseeing in Salerno, where we saw the sights of the old town and the busy seaport. 

We also took part in the host school's closing event, where we joined in the activities to mark World Water Day. 

Hungarian students gave a reusable canvas bag to each student, on which they made drawings and inscriptions on the theme of environmental protection in a workshop. 

We watched a short film about water saving.

We made a film about the environmental activities of the school's pupils and teachers. 

On the occasion of World Water Day, we helped to raise awareness about the importance of water with posters. The participants of the meeting were the students of the partner schools, the students and teachers of the host school, as well as the volunteers of the Legambiente association, and the professor of the University of Salerno. They organized a fun workshop for the students.

Environmental pollution - and water pollution as a part of it - is a current problem in all societies. During the meeting, students were able to see environmental and water protection solutions that they could take home as good practice. The activities they learned can be adapted in any school.

Students visited the aqueduct in Salerno and the Maritime Station.

Italian Students gave information about Italy to foreign students.
