Ms. Carreiro joined the BMRHS Counseling Staff in 2022. She earned her B.S in Human Services from Fisher College in 2016, and her MSW from Boston University in 2020. She is also a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts. She loves to travel, read psychological thrillers, and go to the beach.
Ms. D'Anjou joined the BMRSD Community in 2024 but has worked in the district in the past. After teaching elementary school for six years, she received her Master's in Counseling and CAGS in School Psychology from Rhode Island College. She works with grades 8-12, conducting special education evaluations, running social skills groups, counseling individual students, and providing consultation services to staff and parents. Ms. D'Anjou enjoys playing with her two cats, dancing to live music, and spending time with family and friends.
Ms. Minihane started at BMR in 2021. She earned her B.S. in Athletic Training at Russell Sage College in 1995 and her masters in School Counseling and Adjustment Counseling in 2020. She loves to garden and grow houseplants and she loves to go camping with her husband, 3 daughters and 2 dogs, Quincy and Salem.
Mrs. Poirier has been in the district for over 27 years, working in various clerical positions. She joined the BMR High School Counseling Office in 2019. She has lived in Blackstone almost her entire life and is proud to say she is a BMR graduate. Mrs. Poirier enjoys cooking, reading, swimming, spending time at the beach, and is a devoted Bruins fan. Family time is most important to her. She loves spending the majority of her free time with her husband and 3 daughters.
Mrs. Rielly joined BMRSD as a Guidance Counselor at FWHMS in 2004. She transferred to BMRHS in 2024. She earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice in 1991 and her M. Ed in Secondary Counselor Education at Penn State University in 1997. Mrs. Rielly, her husband, and two daughters lived in Blackstone for 20 years until recently moving to Rhode Island. Mrs. Rielly prefers to spend time with her family above all else. She volunteers with the family's two Bernadoodles, Iroh and Appa for numerous Therapy Dog events each month. In her downtime, she loves to bake, read, and hang out on the lake.
Mrs. Tucker joined the counseling staff at BMR in 2024. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Merrimack College in 2003, and her M.Ed in School Counseling from Wilmington University in 2006. In her free time she likes to cook and hang out at home with her husband, two daughters, and two golden retrievers.
