One School, One Book is designed to create a shared reading experience within a learning community. A chapter book is chosen and the community is encouraged to read and discuss the book. The shared reading experience creates a local discussion of theme, characters, and text connections. The community coordinates, promotes, and enriches the shared reading experience.
