Services will be evaluated on an individual basis and in accordance with the student’s individual needs.
A compensatory plan will be submitted for board approval at the March 9th board meeting utilizing CARES funding.
Hours will be allocated for Pre-K and K-12 students. Criteria for service distribution, once approved, will be posted on this page, the re-entry plan and the Special Services website.
Parents whose child qualifies for compensatory services will be contacted by their case manager. A parent will have the ability to use the hours immediately, virtually or bank the hours until they are more comfortable with in-person services. There will be a time restriction to use the services.
Liberty Program- Will remain virtual for the remainder of the year.
Child Study Team Testing began on July 20, 2020 through November 11, 2020.
On March 15th 2021, we will resume testing students in person and schedule evaluations at five testing sites within the district by appointment:
BHS, BMS, Fairview, Brookdale, and ECC
April 19, 2021 all schools will be open for testing and services but we will continue to keep to a limited daily schedule for distancing and cleaning purposes. Students who attend hybrid can be tested during the day. Virtual students can be tested after the half-day session.
Outside service providers will continue to see students by appointment at their offices or virtually.
