Fidget Ring

Designed using FUSION 360 CAD program, then 3D printed on a DaVinci XYZ printer using PLA filament, then hand polished . Mr. Giglio consulted with Amrit M. during the design and printing process.

Fan Car Challenge Project

Students designed a Motor & Propeller drive car.

First they made a technical drawing using traditional tools. They learned how to create a 3Volt series electrical circuit with a motor, 2 batteries and a switch.

Fan Car Tinkercad Design

Student were tasked to use their 'hand drawing' and create a 3D model in the computer using TINKERCAD. TINKERCAD is an entry level computer aided drawing & design program. Then the student actually constructed their design using the same basic measurements and layout.

Fan Car From design to Fabrication

Working prototype of a student's FAN CAR design. Note the 3 wheels, 2 battery packs, motor, propeller and switch. Students then performed a variety of tests and observations, collected data and handed in a written lab report

Robot Maze Program Challenge

BBMS student Brooke, constructed and programmed her robot to navigate the MAZE. She used LEGO NXT Mindstorms program and a standard windows computer.

Student Designed Cookbook Holder for Ms. Bhanti FACS Class

Student Madison Hamlet designed a cookbook holder with wooden base and clear plastic panels to protect the book from food splashes. She thought up the idea and she & her father fabricated the design. Ms. Bhanti encouraged her students to think of ways to improve kitchen cleanliness.

" Hello my name is Madison Hamlet. In my Family and Consumer Sciences class we had to do an upcycled project for the interior design unit. I made a Cookbook holder. I went to my dad's work and next to his work is a scrap yard. I found a piece of wood. My dad put ridges in the piece of wood because he used an electric saw. Then when I was helping him, I found two identical pieces of plastic and put them in the ridges." (Madison 2021)
