JAZZ ENSEMBLE

The BBMS Jazz Ensemble is an auditioned ensemble open to all students in 6th, 7th and 8th Grade who have advanced skills on a concert band or rhythm section instrument (Guitar, Drums, Bass or Piano) All new students are required to audition for the ensemble in the fall by playing a short excerpt from a Jazz Ensemble chart (provided) as well as a memorized Concert Bb Blues Scale. The Jazz Ensemble typically meets Tuesday mornings at 7:10AM in the band room.
