What are the ISTE Standards?
ISTE stands for the International Society of Technology in Education. This organization is a global community of educators committed to "the power of technology to transform teaching and learning, accelerate innovation, and solve tough problems in education" (ISTE). ISTE publishes internationally recognized technology standards for students, teachers, and education leaders that can be used to inform teaching and learning.

The state of Oklahoma uses the ISTE Standards as their current technology standards. The standards are meant to be utilized across content areas at different grade levels.
