The Health and Life Sciences sector employs over 6,000 people and is estimated to deliver products and services worth in excess of £1.7 billion per annum and contribute over £300 million in Gross Value Added (GVA).

The Health and Life Sciences sectors are of critical importance for the Liverpool City Region, with significant recent investment in local industry, the NHS and universities.
