EXTRA FUN ACTIVITIES

Bruno Mars - You Can Count on Me:

This is our song for Assembly this coming Friday. As Year 7&8 leaders we need to be able to sing this well so we can lead the other Blaketown students. Remember 'Magic Moments' when singing are the silence prior and at the end of the song performance.

You can turn this into someting amazing when school starts or even at home. It would make a great peice of art or a cool photo book.

Make something and put a picture on your blog

Time CAPSULE.pdf

This is an awesome idea for you to look back on later as a whole family because we are living in a new history. Think about when we did ANZAC and had real letters, pay books postcards etc to look at. It all made it real for us. You can do this for your children and grand children.

ENERGY:

When you stretch a rubber band, it stores elastic potential energy: the energy stored inside a material when it is stretched, squished, bent, or twisted. This is different from gravitational potential energy, which is the energy stored in an object lifted up off the ground. Both types of potential energy can be converted to kinetic energy, the energy of motion. All moving objects have kinetic energy, and an object that is not moving has no kinetic energy. When energy is converted between forms, the total amount of energy is conserved (some energy may also be converted to heat due to friction, but that is still a form of energy).
