The Franchising Education & Development Series is a strategic initiative led by Michelle N. Samuel and implemented in partnership with her business MNS Consultancy and her company SLUDTERA Inc.. Michelle is a 2017 YLAI Alumna and business development & social impact strategist. The series is designed to introduce, educate, and empower Caribbean entrepreneurs to grow and scale their businesses through franchising.
The series is meant to be executed in two progressive phases:Phase 1 (Nov 22nd, 2025): Introduction to Franchising Workshop — a fully-funded (free) and exclusive foundational training session, for a select group of individuals comprising SALCC students, BizConnect Caribbean Members and Giveaway winners. It was held as an official Global Entrepreneurship Week event as part of GEN HQ's calendar of events.
Phase 2 (Mar 18th-20th, 2026): The Caribbean Franchise Summit — a regional 3-day conference and capacity-building event for business owners and ecosystem builders.
