The word "origami" is derived from the Japanese words "ori," meaning folding, and "kami," meaning paper. The goal of origami is to transform a flat sheet of paper into a finished sculpture through folding techniques, without the use of cutting or gluing. The Origami Club is a club dedicated to the craft of origami. Students will learn and teach others how to fold origami and share this unique art form.
