Boys Basketball Tournament

The 7th and 8th grade boys basketball season was a success! Every Horizon team made it to the number 1 seed in the tournament, meaning they did the best out of all the teams during the regular season. Most of the Horizon teams also went undefeated. Horizon ended up doing amazing in the tournament as well, with all of the Horizon teams making it to the championship game. Out of those twelve teams, ten succeeded in winning the championship game, and earning the trophy.

Horizon 8th Grade A Team

8th grade

This year's basketball season was great for Horizon's 8th grade boys basketball teams. All four of the A and B teams made it through the season with zero losses. The 3 coaches for 8th grade were John Doppler with the A team, Bart Brakin with the B team, and Chad Miller with the C team. Each coach ended up going home with the title of champion.

The 7th graders also did great this year. 5 of the 6 teams won the championship games (A1, A2, B1, B2, and C2). Coaching the seventh graders were Kelly Fike with A, Derrick Leithold with B, and Rick Owell with C.
