Teacher Feature

Do you ever wonder what your teacher does in their free-time away from school? If so read the Teacher Feature! My group and I went around Horizon and Interviewed two teachers from every team and asked them what some fun facts were about themselves that most of us students wouldn't know. Even we were surprised at some of the answers that came through. The answered ranged from how many siblings on has had to being a Swedish fish eating champion. We even got someone being abducted by aliens. You can decide on whats true or not listening to the teacher interviews. Get ready to laugh along with us over at the teacher feature.

Art Feature

Have you ever thought of joining Art here at Horizon? If so read this article to find out what it's all about! We interviewed Mrs. Worrel one of the art teachers, about what she enjoys to do in the class and about her in general. We found out why she became an art teacher and what her motive is in the classroom. "If i were to become a teacher i would not call out students for being creative or even if they mess up. I'm gonna try to be kind and be supportive" She said. It was really cool hearing her background and seeing what brought her to where she is now. If you wanna found out more about Mrs. Worrel go watch the interview over on the Art Feature!

We also interviewed some of her 6th-grade students about why they chose to do art and what they have learned already in the starting of the quarter. We talked about their favorite art project, How it has helped them in the school day, and what they have improved on as of now. Since it is the starting of the quarter they haven't gone through all the exciting projects they will this year but they already have improved on creativity. If you wanna find out more about what the newest members of Horizon Art said, go to the art feature and watch their interview to find out!
