Planning your future can be somewhat overwhelming at first. Making a solid plan of action based on knowledge of your abilities, interest, acquired skills and desired life-style can aid you to select the appropriate path of training to help you attain your career goals. The career guidance information available through the advising office at the Career & Technical Education Center is aimed at helping students make sound decisions and realistic plans for their futures.

Job search organizational skills are discussed in addition to information regarding resume writing, employment application, and interview preparation. This information is made available to students in classroom sessions by the career advisor at the CTE Center and during individual sessions as requested by the students. These services are intended to be supplemental to those guidance and advising services available to students at their high schools of origin.

College Agreements
Articulation Agreements allow students to receive college credit while still in high school. The agreements list the college courses and corresponding high school classes that articulate. They are different than Dual Credit in that the students do not pay full tuition. Instead they pay an articulation fee, typically $10.00 per credit, to transfer the credit to the post-secondary institution.
