It’s almost game time! In this session, 8th grade Social Studies teachers will team up to design engaging, high-impact review plans that get students ready to shine on STAAR. Together, we’ll explore creative strategies, share best practices, and build review activities that boost confidence and reinforce critical skills. Teachers will also have dedicated team planning time to turn ideas into ready-to-use review plans that energize classrooms and set students up for success.

Participants will discuss ways to maintain rigor, differentiate instruction, and engage students with complex content. Participants will examine key content areas, review historical thinking skills, and explore strategies to support student understanding and retention. The session will focus on practical approaches for reinforcing standards and boosting student confidence ahead of the assessment.
