Description: This training provides a brief overview of the updated English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS) and Proficiency Level Descriptors (PLDs) scheduled to take effect in 2026. Participants will examine key updates and consider instructional approaches to better support emergent bilingual (EB) students in developing language proficiency. Through discussion and practical application, the session will offer a high-level overview of ways to intentionally embed language support within content-area instruction.
