This session will deepen educators’ understanding of Research-Based Instructional Strategies (RBIS) that drive effective Reading Language Arts instruction. Participants will explore high-impact practices aligned to the Science of Teaching Reading, engage in hands-on planning, and learn how to intentionally embed RBIS into daily lessons to support all learners in mastering grade-level standards.

Explore strategies to help young learners make a successful transition from Pre-K to kindergarten. This session will highlight ways to build school readiness skills, support families, and create experiences that foster confidence, independence, and excitement for the next stage of learning.
This course is designed to support educators in understanding and implementing the RLA Research-Based Instructional Strategies, or RBIS. The RBIS are evidence-backed teaching practices designed to enhance reading and language arts instruction in classrooms. RBIS aim to improve student outcomes by addressing key areas like foundational skills, text complexity, knowledge coherence, and text-based responses.
Due August 8th if hired in June or July. Due 30 days after hire date if after August 8th.
This session for new teachers who have never administered the CLI Engage Circle testing or teachers who need a refresher. The session will over the assessment including administration and data reports.
3 hours of professional learning credit.
Engage in e-courses designed to meet the needs of PK teachers. Topics will vary and cover components of high-quality PK programs. These sessions provide support with weekly planning and delivery of high quality Pre-K instruction. Includes support in both English and Spanish.
