In this session, participants will learn to integrate technology and writing across content areas, align instruction with district goals, and navigate key processes like fundraisers, CTSO sponsorships, inventory, and purchasing. Non-WBL staff will focus on TEKS alignment and collaborative planning, while WBL staff will receive follow-up practicum support for workplace-based learning.

Plan with your vertical and district PLC to determine how your program and courses will continue to provide students with WBL and IBC opportunities. Review expectations for work based learning opportunities this spring. and purposefully plan for the remainder of the semester.

This professional development will focus on intentional planning for curriculum writing and summer PD. Teachers will engage in collaborative discussions to identify program needs, align curriculum with industry standards, and plan for rigorous, relevant instruction that supports student success. The session will also provide time to map out priorities for summer professional development, ensuring training is purposeful, connected to district and campus goals, and designed to strengthen teaching practices within each CTE program of study.
