In this session, we'll prepare to welcome newly identified GT students and ensure a smooth mid-year transition. We'll also preview and begin planning our Spring enrichment unit, focusing on strategies to engage and challenge our gifted learners.

This session gives Kindergarten GATE teachers an opportunity to take a closer look at the depth and direction of their current units of study. Participants will collaborate, share insights, and refine plans to better meet the needs of their gifted learners.
2025-2026 School Year (Due Dec. 19, 2025)
Foundational 30 Hours are required for teachers with GT students.
This course is for teachers who work with gifted/talented students as part of our service design. In order to teach students in an elementary gifted cluster classroom, work with our honors students, or instruct AP or OnRamps courses, you must hold a GT Foundational Training certificate.
You will complete the 5 self-paced modules through our outside vendor, Academity. Upon completion, your five certificates must be submitted in Kickup for district credit and record keeping.
2025-2026 School Year (Due May 21, 2026)
Need your yearly GT 6 hour update and took multiple 3 hour courses. Use this link to upload your training.
This course is open to teachers who need a 3 hour update to work with gifted/talented students as part of our service design.
You will complete your modules through our outside vendor, Academity. Upon completion, your certificate must be submitted in Kickup for district credit and record keeping.

This course is open to AP and OR teachers who participated in APSI or Summer PLI training. GT credit was granted for 18 of the 30 hours.
To complete the GT Foundational 30 hour training, Nature and Needs along with Identification and Assessment must be completed.
You will complete the 2 self-paced modules through our outside vendor, Academity. Upon completion, both certificates must be submitted in Kickup for district credit and record keeping.
