Addison Pellegrino serves as the Percussion Director at Burleson Centennial High School, returning to his alma mater to lead the program that helped shape his own musical journey. Prior to stepping into this role, Mr. Pellegrino spent two years working with the Burleson Centennial percussion students during the fall marching seasons and spring indoor drumline seasons. He is active as a percussion educator, performer, and clinician in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Before returning to Centennial full-time, Mr. Pellegrino maintained a private studio of over 60 percussion students across the Hebron High School cluster, including Hebron High School, Arbor Creek Middle School, Killian Middle School, and Creek Valley Middle School, while also providing masterclasses and assisting with the Hebron High School marching percussion program.

Mr. Pellegrino earned his Bachelor of Music Education with a concentration in percussion from Northwestern State University of Louisiana, graduating summa cum laude. While at Northwestern State, he studied with Dr. Oliver Molina and Kenneth Green, and performed extensively in the university's Wind Symphony, Jazz Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, and other ensembles, serving in principal percussion roles throughout his time there.

Throughout his teaching career, Mr. Pellegrino has worked with many programs across Texas as a band director, percussion director, private lesson instructor, clinician, and consultant. Prior to joining the Hebron cluster, he served as Director of Percussion at Ranchview High School and Irving High School, where his students consistently earned first division ratings in marching band, concert and sight-reading, and solo and ensemble contests.

As a performer, Mr. Pellegrino remains active throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. His performance credits include the South Arkansas Symphony, Dallas Brass Band, British Brass Band of Louisiana, Oregon Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, and Louisiana Stars Drum and Bugle Corps. He is also a member of the Texas Music Educators Association and the Percussive Arts Society.

Mr. Pellegrino's teaching philosophy centers on building technically excellent, independent musicians who love what they do. He is passionate about creating a percussion culture rooted in high standards, consistency, student leadership, musical literacy, and genuine joy in the process of making music.
