Kevin began studying the Double Bass at 16 and graduated from the University of North Texas with his bachelor's degree in music studying under Jeffery Bradetich and Gundrun Raschen. Originally Kevin during High school had no plans to major in music as he wanted to be a Dentist or Engineer and was trying out career paths. Eventually, he started lessons for Double Bass lesson at the age of 16 and at the age of 18 realized he was going to pursue music as a career. 

Not only is he an active educator but an active performer as well with his past performances includes groups with Texas Millennial Orchestra and Chorus, Arkansas Symphony, 2023 PRISMA Orchestra, Temple Symphony. While performing and teaching he also maintains an active Private lesson Studio where past students have earned principal chairs.
