The Nexus technology "MODULAR BLOCK SYSTEM" has officially been registered as UTILITY MODEL by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines
The Administrative Memorandum issued by the College President last August 2018, initiated by the Nexus Task Force, is now seeing commendable results. It requires a memo requires all incoming air-conditioning units to use an environment that air-conditioning units (ACU’s) in the campus to use environment-friendly refrigerants and should be of inverter technology.
As of date, newly-acquired ACUs are of the said specifications and offices are mandated to keep their room temperature at not less than 25°C. Although these new units are more expensive, BISCAST decided to procure the units for its environmental advantage, as well as its lower running cost due to energy efficient utilization of inverter technology by 25°C.
