On September 14th, a few of our cadets volunteered to help with W.A. Porter's carnival. At the carnival our cadets ran carnival stations like corn hole, twister, ring toss games, and others. This was a great opportunity for our cadets to interact with elementary-aged students and provide service for our community.
On September 20th, our cadets are going to Walker Creek Elementary to help the PE coaches with their PE classes as our service learning project this year. This is another phenomenal opportunity for our cadets to interact with children while learning from the experience.
We had a group of cadets go to Richland Middle School go to it's Hispanic Heritage night. This was a great event for cadets to interact with the kids of Richland Middle School, creating a positive public face for our program while assisting with our community.
On October 7th, our Battalion participated in Birdville High School's homecoming parade, leading at the front of the parade. This was a great event for the cadets to participate in their community and show off their marching skills they learned in class.
