We require teachers to renew their safety training every three years. This course will satisfy the requirment. Teachers will use the link and then create an account if they don't have one. Once you successfully complete the course, the teacher will save a copy of the certificate and email the Science Coordinator a copy.
This course is offered by the Texas Education Agency and you will need your TEAL number to register.

🏫TEA Learn Course - Implementing the ELPS in Science
HS Science Teachers
This course is designed to show how implementing the ELPS cross-curricular student expectations and linguistic accommodations promotes content and language acquisition in a science lesson. Once you successfully complete the course, the teacher should save a copy of the certificate and enter the information in Strive to put it into their portfolio.
