To participate in the BHS Graduation Ceremony, you must wear an official BHS cap and gown with the hawk patch.
π¬ If you need assistance obtaining your cap and gown, please speak with your counselor or Ms. Beasley.
The only items required for graduation are included in one unit called "Cap, Gown, and Tassel" at $50. If you are borrowing a cap and gown from a previous graduate you will need to purchase the "Memory Tassel" at $12. herffjones.com -> graduation -> shop your high school -> type in Birdville and make sure the graduation year is on 2026 -> shop graduation products -> grad gear & apparel -> scroll all the way down to grad essentials -> cap, gown, and tassel unit or memory tassel
Ordering takes place early in the year because each graduation gown is custom-made to fit individual student measurements and includes a BHS-specific embroidered patch on the sleeve.
October 8th, 2025: Herff Jones reps will visit campus during the Senior Class Meeting. Students will receive brochures and order forms.
October 15th: Herff Jones reps will be on campus during Hawk Time and all three lunches to accept orders and answer questions.
November 1st: Cap and gown orders are due.
Spring (Late April): Caps/gowns will be delivered to school. All other items ship directly to your home.
In Person Option: Order using the physical form received in person at the October Senior Meeting to ensure accuracy.
Online Option: Visit Herff Jones to order digitally.
