Describing an Event in the Past

Describing an Event in the Past

( using the Past Simple )

Last winter, my family and I went on a trip in the north. After a long ride, at around 10 a.m. we arrived at the Canada Center in Metula. First, we went around and saw all the fun things we could do there. Then, we went ice-skating. It was amazing. Two hours later, feeling very tired and hungry, we decided to have a rest, so we went to the cafeteria. After lunch, we had a bowling game. It was really fun. We still wanted some action……so we went to the warmed swimming pool and then, we saw a 7D movie. We enjoyed it so much…... In the end, after such a long and tiring day, we left Canada Center and drove to our hotel.

We use the connectors , " First, Then, Next , Later, After ( lunch ), In the end / Finally,"

to show the order in which the events happened.
