We use relative clauses to give additional information about a noun, such as a person, place , thing, animal or idea.
The relative pronoun/adverb ,which introduces the relative clause, refers to nouns previously mentioned such as people, places, things , animals or ideas.
Do you know the boy who / that is talking to Sarah ?
The koala is an animal which /that lives in Australia.
A library is the place where we borrow books from.
Summer is the time of the year when we are on holidays from school.
