Spring Term 

Our topic this term is 'Everyday Materials'.  We have learned that everything is made of atoms and investigated solids and liquids.  We also enjoyed exploring 'oobleck' - a substance which acts like a solid and a liquid! On our materials walk around school, we identified lots of different materials such as wood, plastic, metal and glass.  We learned that objects are made from a wide variety of different materials depending on the properties of the material, and that the same object can be made from a variety of different materials.
