WOULD YOU RATHER?

"Would you rather live one perfect day over and over or live your life with no perfect days but just decent ones?"

-Jenny Han, American Author

Asking playful questions is a great way to get to know more about each other's interests and preferences. Highlighting preferences you share and varying likes/dislikes allow Bigs and Littles to gauge what they have in common and what they have to learn from one another.

Activity

Big and Little, play a game of "Would You Rather" or "20 Questions" via text, telephone, Zoom, HouseParty, Google Meet, or FaceTime.

Here are some suggested "Would You Rather" questions to start with:

to go deeper

  • What surprised you about your Little's or Big's preferences?

  • What's one topic you ended up talking a lot about?

Big and Little, work together to write some of your own "Would You Rather" questions to ask each other. They can be specific to Minnesota, a certain theme or your common interests, or they can be more broad in scope. They can be completely silly or more serious in tone.
