Traditions

"Traditions touch us, they connect us, and they expand us."

-Rita Barreto Craig, Leader in HR

Every family holds different traditions that have been passed down through generations.

Traditions identify and differentiate our families or relationships from each other. It is part of our identity both personally and culturally.

Tradition also helps us create memories that will last a lifetime.

Big and Little, talk with each other about traditions that you had growing up as well as new traditions that you have created or inherited.

You, too, will create new memories with each other. Some of those new memories could become traditions as your relationship continues to take shape and evolve.

Consider the following questions:

  • My favorite tradition in my family is ________

  • List your family's favorite traditions by season of the year, by personal favorites, or in any order you like

  • If I could create a new tradition, what would it be? Why this tradition?
