Mission
The Big Ivy Community Center’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for all ages by providing an environmentally sound facility for education, recreation, celebration and locally based human service in order to increase opportunity for personal and community growth within our community.
Big Ivy Community Center (BICC) provided fresh vegetables from Ivy Creek Family Farm (Ivy Creek) to 1,200 neighbors in need each month through the Farm & Food Pantry Partnership (F&FPP). This means grandparents raising grandchildren and people with broken bodies, bank accounts, cars, and spirits were able to bring home lettuce, carrots, broccoli and 38 other delicious fresh foods. With your help, we fed our community from the very fields of this valley.
