We are working diligently to get our grounds back to normal thank you for your understanding.

Please be mindful not to bother the tables, canopies or supplies that are there for our food pantry service.

Our Grounds are open 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm for recreation use. Playgrounds, picnics and the beautiful creek.

Gates will be locked at closing.

HOURS are subject to change with the seasons.

Park Rules

Destruction of plants, animals, and wildlife prohibited
No entry after dark. No Camping or Fires on the grounds.
Swimming in river at your own risk. Must wear appropriate swimming attire and foot wear
No Nudity allowed anywhere on property
Vehicles on grass or foot trails prohibited
Maximum speed is 5 mph
Parking prohibited in non-designated areas
Park signs shall not be removed
Persons may not enter any facility from which they may have been prohibited
Dogs must be on a leash. Please pick up after your dog!
Possession of weapons prohibited
Alcoholic beverages prohibited
No dumping garbage in parks or Center dumpster. (Trash Cans are provided at the playground and front gate for your litter) Littering is prohibited. No dumpster diving.
Violators subject to prosecution pursuant to NCGS Section 153A-123(B) and Section 14-4

Our Community Club has been around for many years. Big Ivy Community Development Club began in the 70's. The Community Center that stands on the county grounds now was built in 2002 and has been serving the Big Ivy and surrounding communities since then. We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit serving Barnardsville and the surrounding communities!
